Dr. Jenny McMullen grew up in St. Charles, Illinois where she developed a passion for health and wellness as a high level gymnast. Being a serious athlete comes with pain and injuries, Dr. Jenny found herself in a chiropractic office at the age of 13, after experiencing a lower back injury. Chiropractic seemed to be the only remedy that relieved Dr. Jenny of her back pain and allowed her to continue to do the sport she loved.
Dr. Jenny graduated from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Movement Science and a minor in Nutrition. Dr. Jenny decided chiropractic was the profession for her after observing and working with many different kinds of healthcare professionals. Nothing compared to the relationship chiropractors get to develop with each of their patients and Dr. Jenny wanted to impact her patients lives just as hers was positively impacted by chiropractic.
Dr. Jenny obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa February of 2021. During her time in chiropractic school she became a rehab intern where she worked extra hours learning about the rehabilitation process of various injuries and was able to apply this to many patients in addition to chiropractic adjustments. She also developed a passion for The Wellness Way early on in her schooling, which lead her to participate in seminars and trainings learning about The Wellness Way approach. Dr. Jenny’s final trimester of her schooling was spent interning at The Wellness Way- Green Bay which allowed her to learn beside amazing chiropractors and gain a deeper understanding of the approach.
Dr. Jenny is very passionate about chiropractic and hopes to develop a community that thinks differently about their healthcare and enjoys living healthier lives.
